Yeti NZ Demo Program 2021

 

The goal is to get riders who are serious about buying, onto the bikes and having a great experience.

 

We want dealers to work with us and each other. By collaborating and making our demo bikes available between shops we will all collectively do better.

 

Also, to avoid tire kickers, we are going to start charging for every demo and in return, offer clothing/part vouchers once a bike is purchased. 

 

Vouchers

  • Customers that spend money on demoing a Yeti can get this value back as a clothing/accessory voucher, issued by us directly to customer.

  • Customers must pay for each demo directly through us to benefit.

  • Customers must simply fill in a form & send us an invoice to receive a voucher, redeemable online through our webstore only. 

 

Demo Days / Pop up Shops / Events

  • We will run pop up shops and a spring demo tour like normal from October-December ensuring all dealers have a minimum one dedicated demo day.

  • We would then take expressions of interest on our website for further demo days needed in popular areas, or  in areas not covered to decide on further demo days.

  • All riders would pay $50 for 1hr demo. Either online or by eftpos at the demo site.  

 

National Yeti Demo Fleet

  • We would create a list of model / sizes of demo bikes owned by dealers willing to participate.

  • If a potential customer from around the country wants to travel to try a bike, we would direct them to the dealer with that bike. They contact the dealer and arrange the demo time. But then if they want to benefit from our voucher program, they would have to pay for a demo directly on our website.

  • We then give the dealer a credit note for the full amount paid & add the amount onto customers balance for clothing voucher

  • We would talk to all dealers to try to find demo prices you all agree on.

 

Yeti in my Garage

  • When our bikes are not in use, we will make them available for this service.

  • Customer gets use of a bike for a full weekend. Pickup from shop on Friday, drop back on Monday. 

  • Bike is booked through us and we confirm with shop a suitable weekend. 

  • Fee of $400 is paid directly to us to cover all costs. We would pay the shop $100 to cover time required.

  • Return freight to be covered by us. Bike must be sent back to us (or to the next shop needing the bike) on Tuesday morning latest.
